Analysis of the association between Epstein Barr virus infection and Hodgkin lymphoma

Epstein Barr virus plays an important role in the pathogenesis of Hodgkin lymphoma. However, frequency its association Bangladeshi people has not been widely studied. The aim this study was to determine Lymphoma through detection Latent Membrane Protein 1 by immunohistochemistry and serum viral capsid antigen IgG antibody titer serology. This a cross-sectional purposively selected 45 histologically diagnosed cases lymphoma at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka, during period March 2017 December 2018. membrane protein positive 71.1% Among these cases, 96% had significantly raised (P<0.0001 obtained Fisher’s Exact test), which male predominance.
